FAQ

Questions patients ask before choosing a stem cell clinic in Thailand

Sterile lab environment
How do I know if a stem cell clinic is safe?+

Look for transparent cell source, lab documentation, viability and sterility testing, marker verification, donor screening for allogeneic products, and a doctor-led suitability review before payment.

Is higher cell count always better?+

No. A high count with low viability or unclear identity is not better than a smaller, well-characterized, sterile product reviewed by a doctor for your case.

What is viability testing?+

Viability measures the percentage of live cells in the product, typically via trypan blue exclusion, automated counters, or flow cytometry.

What is pathogen screening?+

Donor and product screening for infectious agents such as HIV, HBV, HCV, syphilis, mycoplasma and endotoxins where applicable.

What markers should be checked for MSCs?+

Typically positive for CD73, CD90, CD105 (≥95%) and negative for CD34, CD45, CD14/CD11b, CD79α/CD19 and HLA-DR (≤2%), measured by flow cytometry.

Are exosomes stem cells?+

No. Exosomes are cell-derived signaling vesicles, not living stem cells. They have different safety, purity and documentation requirements.

Is autologous safer than allogeneic?+

Not automatically. Both can be safe when collection, processing, screening, sterility and doctor-led review are done correctly.

Can you review a quote from another clinic?+

Yes. Our coordination team can privately review your offer, lab documents and treatment plan to help you understand what to ask.

Can you coordinate consultation with LINNA Clinic?+

For selected cases, yes — LINNA Clinic is a premium Bangkok consultation partner for doctor-led case planning.

Can results be guaranteed?+

No. Suitability and outcomes depend on individual diagnosis, age, health condition, history and treatment plan. Be cautious of any clinic that guarantees outcomes.

What documents should I ask for before paying?+

Cell source documentation, batch / lot reference, cell count with method, viability %, sterility and pathogen reports, marker profile, storage and transport notes, and doctor review notes.

Can I send screenshots or a clinic offer for review?+

Yes. Use the Submit Documents page, chat with our team directly on the website, or email beststemcellinthailand@outlook.com to share screenshots, quotes or lab documents for private review.
