Where do the cells actually come from?

Cell source is one of the most important factors in stem cell quality. Each source has different collection, screening and documentation requirements.

Umbilical cord MSC

Cells isolated from umbilical cord tissue after delivery, with donor screening and pathogen testing.

Wharton's Jelly MSC

MSCs from the gelatinous tissue of the umbilical cord.

Placenta-derived

Cells from placental tissue with documented donor consent and screening.

Amniotic-derived

Products derived from amniotic membrane or fluid; documentation requirements still apply.

Cord blood-derived

Cells collected from cord blood at delivery, screened and stored.

Autologous sources

Cells from the patient's own body

Bone marrow-derived

Aspirated from iliac crest; concentration and processing methods vary.

Adipose-derived (SVF)

Stromal vascular fraction from fat tissue; processing must be clearly explained.

Peripheral blood

Mobilized peripheral blood stem cells, used in specific clinical contexts.

Autologous cell quality may be affected by age, chronic disease, inflammation, lifestyle and overall health. Doctor-led assessment is essential.
